Information for Hans Price Academy
Reading is really important as part of your learning, as a way to relax and entertain yourself and as a way to feel connected and to keep your mind engaged. If you’re ever unsure what to do, spending some time reading or listening to a book on your own or with others in your home is always a good option!
If you’re in years seven or eight at Hans Price Academy you can still quiz on the books you finish in Accelerated Reader to track your reading, add to the college totals and have your efforts recognised. If you run out of books or things to do at home you can find more available for everyone here on this platform.
You can find information and guides about accessing Accelerated Reader at home and tracking your progress through books on the Hans Price Academy Learning Resource Centre website, the LRC Twitter and SIMs. You’ll also hear about updates and news specific to Hans Price at this time on those sites.
This site offers you, and students from all the other academies, a platform to celebrate and share your reading with students from all of the Cabot Learning Federation. You’ll find a range of resources to support you whilst you’re reading at a distance and can’t access books and other resources within your academy or in your usual way, as well as a whole range of challenges, events and ways to get involved.
If you have any questions you can still get in contact in the usual ways.
