Hello Year 7 and Year 8! In the last blog post, you found out more about Shakespearean Comedy. In this blog we will start to look at our first Shakespeare play: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

STARTER- YOU DO: What do you think of when you hear/read the word ‘dream’? Write down the first ten words you think of.

YOU DO: Now look at the images below. Based on these images, what do you think the play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be about? Write down your ideas as a mind map.

We will now focus on the plot of the play. It is important that we understand the main events and characters in the story.
