Hello Year 7 and Year 8! In the last blog post, you found out more about Shakespearean Comedy. In this blog we will start to look at our first Shakespeare play: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

STARTER- YOU DO: What do you think of when you hear/read the word ‘dream’? Write down the first ten words you think of.
YOU DO: Now look at the images below. Based on these images, what do you think the play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be about? Write down your ideas as a mind map.
We will now focus on the plot of the play. It is important that we understand the main events and characters in the story.
YOU DO: CHOOSE at least one of the links/ videos below to help you to understand the plot of the play. There are different options so that you can choose the one you find most helpful. The more you look at, the better your understanding will be!
