Welcome to our Information & Tips page dedicated to families and supporting you through this incredibly challenging time. We understand that many parents and carers will be new to home learning and will be concerned about your family’s wellbeing during such uncertain times. These pages will hopefully signpost you to some useful tools that you can pick up and use when you need them.
We welcome any comments or ideas you would like to share across the CLF community wellbeing@clf.uk.

Tips for Home Schooling
Don’t feel under pressure to provide your child with answers or tell them what they need to do. The activities set by teachers have been designed to get them to think for themselves and the best thing you can do is encourage them to have another go or to use any questions or prompts provided by the teacher to refocus them and get them going again. Younger or less confident learners will need more support but, where possible, encourage them to use their own ideas and record things in their own way. Share your child’s work with their class teacher by sending a photo and don’t worry about it looking neat or being ‘incorrect’ – this will help your child’s teacher understand how to support them in future.
